Privacy Policy

TaskMoney Rewards("TaskMoney", "we", "us", "our") operates the Android application package com.taskmoney.rewards, the website at taskmoneyrewards.com, and the installable web app (PWA) (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use TaskMoney.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to all users of the TaskMoney Rewards Android app (distributed on Google Play and other channels), our website, and PWA. It applies whether you sign in with mobile number and password, email and password, or Google Sign-In.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use TaskMoney, we may collect:

  • Account & identity: name, email address, mobile number, profile photo, login method (email/password, Google Sign-In, or phone verification), Firebase user ID, and referral code.
  • Profile & payouts: UPI ID, Paytm number, bank account details (account number, IFSC, account holder name, branch), city, and other profile fields you choose to provide for withdrawals.
  • Activity & rewards: tasks viewed or completed, proof screenshots or images you upload, coin and rupee balances, transaction and withdrawal history, spin/scratch/daily bonus activity, survey and partner-offer completions, and referral relationships.
  • Device & fraud prevention: device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, language, general location derived from IP, device identifiers or fingerprints used to detect duplicate accounts and abuse, Google Play Integrity / Firebase App Check signals, and timestamps of app opens and key actions.
  • Communications: messages you send via live support chat (text and images), contact form submissions, in-app notification history, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) push tokens if you enable notifications.
  • Technical (website & PWA): browser type, cookies or local storage used for sign-in session and preferences, and PWA install status where supported.
  • Analytics: aggregated usage events through Google Firebase Analytics (for example, screens visited and feature usage) to improve stability and performance.

3. Android app permissions

The TaskMoney Rewards Android app may request the following permissions. We only use them for the purposes described:

  • Internet: required to sign in, load tasks, sync your wallet, send proofs, and use partner reward features.
  • Notifications (Android 13+): optional; used to send alerts about task approvals, withdrawals, bonuses, and admin messages. You can deny or disable notifications in device settings.
  • Photos / media (when you choose): if you upload a profile photo or task proof, the app accesses images you select from your gallery or camera through the system picker. We do not access your entire photo library without your action.

We do not collect precise GPS location, contacts, SMS, call logs, or microphone audio through the TaskMoney app.

4. How we collect information

  • Directly from you when you register, edit your profile, submit proofs, withdraw funds, or contact us.
  • Automatically when you use the app or website (activity logs, device and security data).
  • From Google when you choose "Sign in with Google" (name, email, profile picture).
  • From Firebase Authentication when you verify your phone number or reset your password.
  • From third-party reward partners when you complete their surveys, offers, or ads (completion status and reward amounts).

5. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Operate the rewards program: assign tasks, verify proofs, credit coins, and process withdrawals.
  • Deliver in-app and push notifications about tasks, approvals, withdrawals, and announcements.
  • Operate live support chat between you and our team.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, bots, duplicate accounts, and policy violations.
  • Check for required app updates through Google Play.
  • Improve the Service, troubleshoot errors, and understand usage trends in aggregate.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or advertisers for their independent marketing lists.

6. Third-party partners & SDKs

TaskMoney integrates third-party services to operate rewards, surveys, ads, and security. When you use these features, those providers may collect information under their own privacy policies. Partners may include:

  • Google Firebase & Google Cloud — authentication, database, file storage, cloud messaging, analytics, and App Check.
  • Google Sign-In — optional account login.
  • Google Play services — in-app updates and device integrity checks.
  • Survey & offer partners (for example CPX Research, TheoremReach, TimeWall) — when you open their survey or offer walls from the app or website.
  • Advertising / watch-to-earn partners (for example Monetag, Adsterra) — when you choose watch-ad reward features.

We share only the minimum data needed for these integrations (such as an internal user ID, device type, or completion callbacks). We do not give partners your full payout bank details or password.

7. Legal basis (summary)

Where applicable, we rely on: (a) performance of our contract with you (providing the Service); (b) your consent (e.g. optional notifications, Google sign-in, photo uploads); (c) legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, improving the Service); and (d) legal compliance.

8. Sharing with others

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us run TaskMoney under contract, including Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, storage, cloud messaging, analytics), and payment/UPI processors used only to send approved withdrawals to you.
  • Task partners / advertisers only to the extent needed to validate task completion (we do not sell your contact list to them).
  • Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers if TaskMoney is merged or acquired, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

9. International data transfers

TaskMoney is built on Google Firebase and related Google Cloud infrastructure. Data may be stored or processed on servers located outside your state or country (including the United States and other regions where Google operates). Google's processing is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We configure security rules to limit access to your data.

10. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal requirements. Proof images and support chat messages may be retained for a reasonable period for verification and support history. When you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 30 days of a verified request), except where we must retain records for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, access controls for admin tools, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and logging out on shared devices.

12. Your rights & choices

You may:

  • Access and update profile information in the app (some fields such as verified mobile may be locked).
  • Disable push notifications in your device or browser settings.
  • Request a copy of your data or account deletion via our Delete account page or by emailing us (see Contact).
  • Withdraw consent for optional features where consent applies, without affecting core account access where permitted by law.

If you are in India or another region with privacy rights (for example, access, correction, erasure, or objection under applicable law), contact us and we will respond within applicable timeframes.

13. Children

TaskMoney is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has registered, contact us and we will take steps to delete the account.

14. Cookies & local storage (website)

Our website may store a session token, theme preference, and PWA-related data in your browser. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the TaskMoney web app. You can clear site data through your browser settings, which may sign you out.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes may also be communicated in-app where appropriate.
